Gas Vacuum

The Gas Vacuum project takes a literal approach to cleaning up our atmosphere. The team has proposed the development of a highly efficient, miniature vacuum device engineered specifically to target and pull greenhouse gases directly out of the air, significantly minimizing urban emissions and reversing the immediate local impacts of climate change.

To build grassroots momentum, the team is initiating short, impactful environmental lessons in classrooms to educate younger kids on the immediate mechanics of protecting our global atmosphere.

Inter-port

Inter-port redefines global travel and long-distance relationships with a massive engineering vision. To ensure friends and families can stay connected no matter the geographic divide, the concept designs an ultra-high-speed network of transoceanic bullet trains that travel safely beneath the sea floor, linking entirely different continents in record time.

Testing the power of shared regional experiences first, the students are planning a specialized school train excursion to a brand-new destination within Victoria to study regional transit and connectivity.

B-Wise

B-Wise addresses urban waste head-on by transforming everyday organic refuse into a green power source. The team has envisioned a localized machine capable of processing common food scraps and lawn clippings, bio-converting them seamlessly into usable, clean, renewable energy to drastically lower carbon footprints.

The team is rolling out a comprehensive composting system across Warrnambool College, alongside a school-wide fundraiser to supply dedicated organic waste bins to every single classroom.

A Thousand Years Of Nature

Focused entirely on ecological preservation, A Thousand Years Of Nature looks far beyond the present day to protect our local biodiversity. The core project involves constructing an advanced, highly durable time capsule explicitly built to safeguard a vast array of plant seeds, ensuring that future generations will always have the resources required to regrow vital flora.

To plant the seeds of change today, the team is deploying a dedicated environment lesson across schools to teach contemporary students exactly how to nurture and look after the natural world around them.

Backflips For Bullying

Traditional anti-bullying seminars can sometimes struggle to keep students engaged, so Backflips For Bullying is shaking things up with high-energy entertainment. This live, acrobatic performance uses thrilling choreography and athletic stunts to captivate audiences while delivering powerful, unforgettable messages about the impacts of bullying and how to safely prevent it.

The students are channeling this creative energy into a beautiful, student-painted mural in the Year 8 campus area that visually promotes mental health awareness and a strict anti-bullying culture.

Starbot leverages the immense power of role models to inspire the next generation to stay healthy and motivated. Through a specialized robot and paired application, kids are given the extraordinary opportunity to “chat” directly with their sports heroes—like LeBron James, Lionel Messi, or Cristiano Ronaldo—receiving personalized encouragement to chase their dreams.

To bring this inspiration into the real world, the team is working to host an AFL player or team at their school to run a physical clinic and teach students about teamwork and personal health.
