Mini Me Bot is an innovative concept designed to better support young people who may be struggling with drug or alcohol related issues. The idea centres around a robot companion that provides emotional and educational support, helping young people navigate difficult situations in a safe and supportive way.
The robot would offer verbal encouragement, provide calming tools such as built-in fidget toys, and share educational information about topics that are often difficult or uncomfortable to discuss. By combining support, education and interactive technology, the project aims to help reduce stigma and encourage healthier choices.
To bring their idea to life, the team plans to run a school-wide workshop focused on drug and alcohol awareness. Through discussions and collaborative activities, students will learn more about the impact of substance use and explore ways they can support one another and promote positive wellbeing within their school community.
