The Goodnight Carp Project is a robotic fish that helps tackle invasive species in a smart and sustainable way. Like an underwater drone, the robot can locate carp, send live footage to the user, stun the fish, and then consume it for removal.
To bring the idea to life, the team will host a fishing competition at Taylor’s Lake to raise awareness about the environmental damage caused by carp. All fish caught will be processed into fertiliser and donated to local farmers.
