‘So, what do you want to do after you finish school? Ummm…’
Well let me introduce the most amazing annual school week of the year to help young people find an answer to this question, Future Festival. This will be a weeklong careers experience where young people attend a carnival like careers expo. Prior to the week, students complete a form outlining the different careers they would like to immerse themselves in through the week and then spend time with a ‘day in the life of’ experience with their preferred careers over the week. Each day students can move to a different area of interest.
To trial this idea, the team hope to launch a careers expo and Hawkesdale College and invite other local schools to attend.
