Our beaches, waterways and green spaces are incredible, but a lot of people don’t know how to interact with them in ways that protect rather than harm. Fishy Fishy is a national park experience built around a guided walk where participants learn how to engage respectfully with local wildlife and natural environments, building a genuine culture of care for the places that make this community special.
They’re planning a guided walk around Ballina to educate people about the local environment, and also want to build small crab shelters to protect the crabs living in local waterways.
