DIY Day reimagines what learning can look like outside the classroom. The idea is a town-wide festival built around a clear mission: pick up rubbish across the community, then turn it into cool, creative DIY projects. It’s hands-on, collaborative, and rooted in a genuine belief that education is more effective when it’s fun and engaging rather than passive. Along the way, the event tackles sustainability and community pride too, proving that cleaning up a town and having a great time doing it aren’t mutually exclusive.
