For people experiencing homelessness, even the basics can feel out of reach. Clean Clothes Cit is a kit that provides clean clothing, food and water to people who need it most, while also connecting them to rehabilitation facilities for longer-term support. It’s about making help visible and accessible, and chipping away at the stigma that stops people from seeking it.
They’re creating a sample kit and running a food drive at school to get resources together. They’re hoping to collaborate with the Byron Bay Soup Kitchen, the Rotary Club and local businesses like Woolies, and use social media to raise awareness and reduce the stigma around homelessness.
