What if footy games were also a chance to learn about protecting animals? This group is thinking outside the box with their floating animal sanctuary featuring drones carrying chickens in team colours at half time as a fun and surprising way to spark conversations about conservation.
The smaller scale version of their idea is to partner with a local seniors craft group to help make soft football toys in footy team colours from recycled materials. They will sell the footys at local games and money raised will go to animal welfare charities.
