While many students don’t consider agriculture as a career, this team wants to change that with Agri-Skills – a school-based subject that puts students in direct contact with real farmers, hands-on training, and trade-based learning. It’s not just about farming; it’s about opening doors to future careers, supporting local industries, and learning with and from the community.
To kick things off, the team will run a Career Expo featuring agricultural employers, training providers, and local farmers to show students what the ag industry really looks like, and the many paths it can offer.
