Cyberbullying and online trolling is emotionally and psychologically damaging to many, specifically young people.
This team have developed the idea of using an online bot to filter for offensive or discriminatory language. It will notify the sender prior to sending a message if the content is inappropriate. It may also direct users to a link explaining why their language was offensive in the hopes of educating them. If the user decides to send the message, ignoring advice to the contrary, it will be logged. The user will be blocked after 2 offensive messages and will have to formally appeal to be allowed to return. This will operate across all public messaging platforms.
