Period poverty is a real issue facing many people in our community. Globally, an estimated 500 million people who menstruate lack access to menstrual products and hygiene facilities. The Sanitary Product Box will be filled with donated sanitary products, giving people living in poverty access to basic period care.
The team will ask students within their school to donate sanitary products, then partner with a local organisation to distribute those products to people lacking access, including those experiencing homelessness or unable to afford period products.
