There are over seven billion tonnes of plastic waste in our environment, and less than 10 percent has been recycled. The Melt Master is the newest invention to repurpose your plastic waste, melting down your household waste.
As a smart place to start, this team are exploring how to make recycling and proper waste disposal more fun! Through sensors that play music when waste is disposed in the proper bin, as well as posters which give ideas on how to repurpose each piece of waste three times (eg: could your plastic water bottle be used as a watering can, a pen holder, or a pot for a plant), this team are bringing the fun to saving the planet.
