Illicit drug use amongst young people continues to be a pertinent issue. This team wants to address this by developing a drug awareness day that educates young people on the impacts of drug use on their body and mind.
The awareness day will involve an educational experience and a fundraiser, where all funds raised will go towards ending domestic violence. Workshops will run throughout the day to educate young people on the impacts of drug use on your physical and mental health, and social interaction.
The team hopes to run this awareness day in their school, to educate young people in the Iona community.
