Turtle-Bot is a revolutionary robot turtle equipped with advanced sonar technology to detect rubbish in water. It alerts on-land computers to deploy hydro-powered boats for rubbish collection. Additionally, it scans for sick and dying animals, has a speaker to deter predators, and operates on hydro-power.
As part of their Smart Start Experiment, the team plans to host a run/walk around the lake for Loreto students to raise awareness, followed by a bake sale, and selling turtle and wildlife merchandise.
