Young people need to be engaged in what is going on in the world. That’s where The Worldwide Issue Program comes in. This an app which will be a resource for young people to discover and research different wordwide issues. There will be an option to read varied levels of articles based on the ability of the student. The app will be introduced to schools for young people to learn more about the big issues and current events that are occurring worldwide. It will aim to help young people become better global citizens.
To trial this idea, the team will run a learning program within their school with the Year 9 & 10 students. It will run during history class, students will be provided with a digital resource which has a variety of articles on the current events occuring around the world that week.
