Despite a growing awareness of the damaging effect humans wreak on the environment, we are not doing enough, both individually and as a society, to adapt our behaviours and practices in a positive way.
This team want to develop sustainable methodologies that can be implemented in manufacturing plants to incentivise companies to make positive change.
To trial this idea the team are going to run an educational workshop at KIC with all senior students. This will be an opt in lunchtime workshop, with lunch provided to incentivise attendance. The workshop will be hosted by a highly engaging expert – who has a background/experience in sustainability. Participants will complete activities in the workshop and leave with a plan they can put into practice to reduce their environmental footprint, many implementing small changes.
