Why do so many of us think its ok to hide behind the screen of our device and put down someone else? Bridie and Josh know the negative impact that careless comments on social media can have on our mental and physical health.
To put a stop to this intolerable behaviour, the team designed the ‘No Comment’ app. This app installs software on your phone that inhibits you from sharing a nasty or negative comment and reminds users of the reasons why this is not ok.
To trial the idea, the team will launch an education campaign at school whereby they will encourage students to use specific emojis to inform other students that the comment is not appropriate.
