Through tackling issues of conservation, poor community-connectedness, and a lack of transparency surrounding food production, ‘Nature Space’ seeks to educate and connect people through creating a vibrant nature space in local streets.
The Nature Space would be home to a veggie garden, native flora and fauna, local and indigenous art, and bird boxes and seeds to accommodate local wildlife. This space would bring the community together and allow people to immerse themselves in nature whilst learning more about the local environment.
To start designing this space, the team will host a competition where community members can submit design by letters or email detailing their vision for the sustainable nature space. The winning design will collaborate with local partners and volunteers to bring the concept to life.
