This team have identified that not all young people feel engaged or empowered by their education experience.
To respond to this concern the team have developed an idea to create more space for self-directed student lead learning in their timetables. Teacher would provide a series of life-skills based activities which the students can then choose from and explore at their own pace.
To test this idea, the team would like to run a trial subject in their school, where one class of students will have the opportunity to design their own subject. The class will fit within an existing innovation elective and provides students the time to develop a fantastic subject they would enjoy.
