There is a lot of food waste build up and wastage that is increasing in our community. We want to put an end to this as well as support food markets, support local farms, and promote better environmental habits.
Our big idea is to go to local schools and teach the students about how they can help limit food waste. They would also be provided with compost bin for each class, and make it a little competition to see what class can get the most compost.
In order to shrink our big idea to a little idea we will create a rewards program. Ut will be run at just one primary school for a month long period.
