Helping Hand is an app which allows students to put in preferences of their interests and passions and it connects them with industry professionals. They will be able to get advice on how that professional got to where they are and what is actually involved in that industry. They will be paired up with a mentor who they can directly message and chat to regularly.
To trial this idea, this team will run an online meeting for senior students at Camberwell Grammar, which will have both students and industry professionals. The students will fill out a survey prior to the meeting and be linked up with an industry professional who suits their interests. They will then have weekly mentor meeting for a 6 week period.
