Homeless people lack both a roof over their head and employment which often keeps them in an unbreakable cycle of poverty.
Isabelle, Aiden, Emma and Isabelle’s crazy good idea to tackle homelessness is to create a hotel which provides people in need with support and resources to help them get back on their feet. This group envisions the hotel to also focus on up-skilling people in need as residents would pay their way through contributing to the community which would give them new skills such as cooking which they could potentially take into the workforce.
As a smart place to start this group are hoping to collaborate with with Catholic College Sale and The Smith Family to create some care packages to distribute to people in need within the Gippsland area.
