There are people throughout our community who are ready to help, to give up their time, but where do they go? Click & Connect! Click & Connect is an app which will act as a one-stop-shop for all of your volunteering needs. It will not only be a space for organisations to advertise the help they are seeking but it will also be a place for individuals to go when they are needing support or help. It will have a tracking element in which volunteers can track their hours and at the end of a year-long period, the volunteer with the most hours will be able to donate a sum of money to their charity of choice.
To trial this idea, the team will run a school based trial over one term. Whereby they will have a digital and physical notice board outlining the volunteering opportunities. Instead of 100hrs, the participants will have a goal to complete 10hrs over the term.
