This team wants to take the brainpower out of remembering to bring your bags when you go shopping… enter the Boomerang Bag!
The Boomerang Bag is a reusable bag which, once used, you can hang on your mailbox and the postman will collect it and return it to the supermarket, to reduce waste and make shopping a seamless experience.
To trial their idea, this team want to connect with a local supermarket and run this program on a small scale in one local street. Instead of the postman collecting the bags, they will be collected by an appointed Bag Sergeant – a local school student. The Bag Sergeant will rotate each week for the duration of the 1-month trial.
