Passionate about resolving the increasing cost of living and housing crisis, this team’s idea hopes to address homelessness in the community.
With their app, ‘AirBnFree’, those experiencing homelessness can access somewhere to sleep, financial advice, company, and much more. The idea is that people with an extra room or space in their house can offer it to those in need. This will provide a warm and comfortable environment, and the opportunity to connect.
To trial their idea, this team will host an initiative called ‘One More Meal’ where families will cook enough dinner for one extra person, and donate that meal through the school to a homeless shelter.
