Many students find the passive nature of sitting in a traditional classroom boring and unenjoyable.
Hunter, Conner, Jaxon, Bill and Hamish are on a mission to address student disengagement in class by introducing more active learning into the Australian Curriculum.
As a smart place to start, this group wants to conduct a trial at Maffra Secondary College where half of a year level does hands-on learning whilst the other half continues learning in the traditional classroom format. The performance and engagement levels of students in each respective group will then be compared in semester reports.
