What if cars could do more than just transport people?
Jack, Jake, Levi, Matt, and Ollie envision a car retrofitted with a built-in rubbish vacuum that sucks up litter as you drive. The waste is processed internally into compact rubbish cubes that can be easily dropped off at local recycling centers to be repurposed into new products. With this retrofit, any car can become a “Rubbish Robber,” making roads and cities cleaner, one drive at a time.
Jack, Jake, Levi, Matt, and Ollie plan to launch their mission with a “Clean Up Gisborne Day,” inviting the community to join forces in collecting litter. Participants will compete for prizes awarded to individuals, teams, or groups that collect the largest volume of rubbish. It’s a fun, engaging way to raise awareness about waste and kickstart the movement.
