This team has a crazy good idea to save us and other sea life from swimming in plastic!
The ‘Water Bin’ is a filtration device that swallows all of the big pieces of plastic floating in the ocean, while filtering out the microplastics and contaminants, releasing clean water back into the ocean.
As a smart place to start, this team will assign the role of “citizen scientist” to people in the local community who will be in charge of checking the purity of the water and then distributing water bins to where they are needed.
