Is planting trees the way towards a better future? Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. This team wants to create a tree planting competition. It will be a 30 day competition in which participants will live onsite in a sustainable tree house and each day they are challenged to plant 50 trees. It will be the last one standing, and the winner will get to live in their treehouse permanantly.
To trial this idea, the team will run a tree planting competition on a smaller scale. The team will work to find the last one standing in order to not only promote tree planting and contribute to bettering the environment but to also share the importance of trees in our ecosystems and how they can improve so many aspects of the environment.
