How can we help vulnerable and disconnected people in the community feel supported? Boxes for Need! BFN will involve young people writing positive affirmation messages which will be submitted to a class box where they will all be collated. These messages will be distributed amongst the community to people in need, to not only birghten their day but also to let them know people care about them and their wellbeing.
In order to trial this idea, the team will start a campaign at Matthew Flinders with the classes in Year 8 to connect to the smaller Matthew Flinders community. The students will write messages of support and positivity and distribute them to the community.
